Writer Notes: I think it’s about time we post this. 😉
Warnings: freaking plumbob got in one of the pics without me noticing, sneaky bastard…oh well…poem at the beginning of this.
How can every day,
Be spent with fret?
Words left to say,
But them, we forget?
How do we sit,
With the danger so close?
Or just ignore it,
Slipping away time at most.
How do we keep together,
And not dread?
But that we whether,
Be here than dead.
How can you be,
So close to me?
But you feel,
“Come and eat, you haven’t all day.” Tatiana said.
The Elf side glanced at the lady, but did not move. “No.”
She shook her head. “I made a lot. I thought you might be hungry.”
Vaiden sighed and stepped away from the window.
“Sorry to get you away from your view.”
“If it was just the scenery I was evaluating…” he mumbled.
He just shook his head.
Vaiden sat next to Tatiana, but refused to look at her while he poked the pancakes with his fork, breaking off pieces and stirring them around his plate.
“If you don’t want to eat then don’t.” huffed Tatiana. “I try to…” she sighed. “Never mind.”
“Try to?” Vaiden questioned.
“Be nice and treat you food and space and…I-I…what can I do to please you, Vaiden?”
He turned to her with wide eyes.
“You know what I mean. Don’t even think that way.” Even as she said it, she couldn’t help, but blush.
“If this is your way of thanks, you are way too paranoid of my feelings.” He replied. “I…really don’t have any.”
“Are you saying you’re emotionless?” Tatiana asked.
Vaiden was silent for a moment.
“Don’t be absurd, Vaiden. Everyone has emotions.”
“That’s not what I said.” He claimed. “I said I really don’t have any feelings…on this.”
“No. It’s. Not.”
She shook her head. “You’re being ridiculous. Everyone has feelings and emotions.”
“Not on every subject.”
Tatiana thought on that for a moment. “Maybe.”
“No.” Vaiden said. “Truth.”
“The truth? You’re just trying to get out of eating my pancakes.” Tatiana smiled. “What are you scared or something?”
Vaiden narrowed his eyes at her.
He picked up the fork, pierced a pancake, broke off a slither, put it in his mouth, and chewed slowly. “Happy?”
Tatiana felt the ends of her lips twitch. “Very much.”
